Publishing houses showcase their authors and new releases, whilst the juries for the major literary prizes begin their reading.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 Prix Goncourt, France\u2019s most prestigious literary award, will be presented in early November. The Acad\u00e9mie Goncourt\u2019s first official shortlists are expected from September onwards, ahead of the various stages leading up to the announcement of the winner. (Goncourt Academy)<\/p>\n<p>This new edition promises to be particularly rich, featuring novels that explore themes such as memory, identity, societal change, family relationships and major contemporary issues.
